Metrosexual – the new word to describe men that take care of their appearance. Years ago it was widely assumed that it was really on women that had a beauty regime and really worried about what they wore. Now a days you get men grooming kits, face washes, moisturizing creams and of course male fashion has stepped up a gear also. This is because in general men are now paying more attention to what they look like and how they dress.
Some great tips for men are:
Always iron your clothes. No matter what outfit it is that you are wearing, it will always look better if it is pressed and ironed. If you are not able to iron then many launderettes offer a pressing service.
In the summer males tend to swat more. Try and wear light fabrics that will keep you as cool as possible – nothing looks than sweat marks!
If you are wearing dark shoes and trousers then never wear white socks.
Whatever colour your shoes are, your belt should be the same
Shoes that are scuffed can ruin an outfit so get a sponge polish brush and give your shoes the quick once over before you leave the house.
Let’s be fair its not rocket science and male fashion is not overly different to female fashion. Try and match colours so that everything blends, make the most out of what you have and present it in the best way possible. That way you will always look the absolute best that you can!

Everyone likes to wear jeans and t-shirt. It is a look that has been around for years and shows no sign of fading. Whether it’s a pretty top and jeans for a night out, or a plain top and jeans to go shopping on the weekend most people will have at least one pair of jeans in their wardrobe. This is great because it means that we always have something to choose in our wardrobe. However because everyone is wearing it, you can become conscious of just looking like everyone else. For example the blue jeans and white fitted t-shirt is a really nice look however when it comes to summer everyone is working that outfit which can mean that you don’t want too.
Don’t worry though as there are plenty of tops out there that you can wear to make you stand out.
Why not look online for a movie quote top? These are usually available for most of the bigger movies and are available in a wide range of styles. For example there are loads of “no body puts baby in the corner” t-shirts available quoting Jonny from Dirty Dancing
If a movie top is not up your street then why not go for just a big logo top? Lots of them are around either on the high street or online. There are even t-shirts with brand names on them which really are eye catching.
Going for a t-shirt of one of these styles means that you can still wear the jeans and t-shirt look but you will stand out from the crowd and don’t have to worry about looking the same as everyone else.

It seems like every time we switch on the TV or read a newspaper we are told that we are in a recession. It is forced upon us that we need to cut back and spend less because of the credit crunch. Lots of us are already feeling the hardship of this current economic crisis and has noticed our disposable income dwindling.
This often means that things we would normally have treated ourselves to before are a big no no…. Usually this results in us having to wear the same outfits out rather than being able to splash out on a new one.
However just because we can’t afford a brand new outfit is no excuse not to look great every time you go out. There are plenty of ways that we can look good without having to spend a fortune doing it.
Lucky for us this year colour and statement jewellery are at the height of fashion. Bangles, big necklaces and ear-rings are all things that you can pick up on the high street for just a few pounds. Once you have spent a few weeks picking up the odd item here and there you will have a great collection of fashion jewellery that you can mix and match with every outfit. This is a great way to make sure every outfit looks unique without having to spend loads of money and just imagine if you start stocking up now the fantastic collection of jewellery you will have by the time we reach the summer.

If you are limited on budget that it can be easy to assume that you will struggle to find new clothes and look good. Often we panic about wearing the same outfit twice and people judging us. In fact this is not the case at all as many people are in the same boat as we are. However there are lots of ways that you can create outfits without spending too much money.
The thing to remember is that accessories and shoes on the high street are very cheap. This means that you can buy new accessories to add to an outfit without spending too much money. This will allow you to update your outfit all the time without actually splashing out on a new outfit,
Remember that if you do want a new outfit stores always have sales and offers on. This is an ideal time to get down there and buy your self something new without spending fill price.
One thing to consider is mending your own clothes rather than throwing them away. This is easy to do and a relatively simple skill to learn. Why throw away an outfit just because the zip has broken? This would take just a few minutes to fix and cost next to nothing.
Also remember your friends are in the same position as you, so why not get together and swap clothes? This is a free way to get new outfits and everyone benefits!
If you follow these easy steps then there is no reason at all why you can’t look fabulous every single time you leave the house.

The truth is style is usually some one is born with; some people have that certain flair which means that they are good at throwing things together and coming out with a look that looks good.
Truth is that really any one can look good; it isn’t about where you are from or how much money you have to spend – you can look good even on a limited budget.
When it comes to fashion quality is far more vital than quantity. You should remember that a few statement pieces are better in your wardrobe then lots of ‘wish-wash’ items that don’t mean anything.
Make sure that you buy clothes that fit you well and not just clothes that are cheap. We all know the parts of our body that look good so buy outfits that highlight these areas and you will always look good.
If you are looking for places to buy clothes and are not worried about them being second hand then charity shops always have clothes for sale. These have better reputations than they did maybe 30 years ago and have clothes of all sorts of styles.
Remember that it is really accessories that make or break an outfit, especially if it is for a special occasion. Fashion jewellery works well for nights out around town and if you wear different jewellery every time then your outfit will always look different.
Remember to keep an eye out for bargains that are to be had, shops are always having sales and offers and these are ideal times to pick up something cheap to wear!
